One of the Hudson Valley's most popular villages to attend for a great meal is now home to something new! New Paltz is now home to a brand new dining establishment and to state we are excited about it is a bit of an understatement.

Back in June, we told you that the folks who own and run a few of the area's most successful bars and restaurants had started construction on a fresh restaurant in the heart of New Paltz. Brian Keenan and Craig Gioia who've been doing business all across the Hudson Valley for 30+ years at restaurants including Darby O'Gills, Novella's, and McGillicuddy's announced that they would be opening Sideshow Kitchen & Bar in Fresh Paltz as soon as construction was completed.

New Club at Former Prime Time in Highland Announces Grand Opening

There was a time when Prime Time in Highland was one of the hottest spots in the Hudson Valley. It was a gay lock, but everybody was welcomed, no matter what their sexual preference was. Prime Time was always busy. You&#x;d be lucky to find a parking cosmos on a weekend night. But once you did, you got to be part of the fun party going on inside.

When Prime Time closed, I was really surprised. It was so popular. I don&#x;t even remember how many years it was closed for, but it seemed to sit hollow for quite a while. Every hour I would transfer it while driving on Route 9W, I thought how sad it looked. Especially when it was such a hopping place help in the date. A few months ago, I heard that there were plans for a new place, but I didn&#x;t overhear too much after that. Until now.
