The Degrassi Scene That Was Cut Because An Star Hated It So Much

Actor Lyle Lettau, who portrays Tristan Milligan in "Degrassi: Next Class," had such an issue with the handling of labeling in a scene that it was cut entirely from the episode. The sever scene was reportedly supposed to occur in Season 4, Episode 3, "#ILookLikeA," as revealed by Lettau in a video interview posted on the "Degrassi" Facebook page.

During the conversation, Lettau elaborated on what exactly bothered him about the scene. He explains how, in the scene, his character Tristan is angry with another ethics, Miles (Eric Osborne), for not wanting to be labeled as "the male lover writer." Lettau's issue with the scene was that he feels that people have the right to not want to be labeled, and his ethics should not be mad at someone for that. Lettau commented, "If he doesn't want to be categorized as something, that's like anyone who doesn't want to be called a 'him' or a 'she.'" He then added, "You should be capable to make your have decision on that and not have someone love, mad at you for it."

This then opened

I'm not a vast fan of soap operas, unless they involve aliens or zombies, so I never saw the various incarnations of of teen angst in the closeted-Toronto Degrassi High. In case you are interested, they were: The Kids of Degrassi Street(): Degrassi Junior High(), Degrassi High(), and Degrassi: The Next Generation().  The most recent rendition, Degrassi: The New Class(), has popped up on Netflix.  I don't want to slouch through every episode looking for the LGBTQ+ characters, but fortunately I set up an article with a rundown of all the same-sex attracted, bi, and "I don't believe in labels" boys, plus some heterosexual boys involved with sapphic, bisexual, and "I don't believe in labels" girls.

1. Jonah Haak (Ehrem Kassam, top left) is dating Grace, who is also internet dating Zoe, but is "not into labels."

2. Zig (Ricardo Hoyos) is in a polyamorous relationship with two girls, Esme and Frankie.

3.  Miles Hollingsworth III (Eric Osborne) is the school's Rich Kid (you couldn't explain from his name?). He starts out being "not into labels," but eventually comes out as bisex

5 Reasons to Love Triles on Degrassi

The season finale of Degrassi definitely brought the drama I predict after years of Degrassi . When the storm cleared we were left with new relationships going into the next season.  I have quickly boarded the Triles ship, which gained speed with that finale. Triles is the shipping name for Tristan Milligan and Miles Hollingsworth evening I find a new reason to love this pairing  so I wanted to list my top 5 reasons for you.

1. Bi/Pan/Fluid Representation Possibly. The demonstrate has had bisexual characters before, but so far no characters that identifies as a pansexual male. They&#;ve also had characters who came out as male lover after having dating the contrary sex. It would be amazing to see Miles identifying as something else on the spectrum or choosing to not be labeled at all. I know many guys who dated many girls before realizing they liked guys.I also have friends who say they&#;ve never been with a guy,but could see it happening if the right person came along. I feel like Miles is just open from what we&#;ve seen so far and I&#;m excited t

Eric Osborne as Miles Hollingsworth & Lyle Lettau as Tristan Milligan.

Since I'm in a period of wanting to watch new storylines I started another. I started watching the Tristan and Miles (Triles) storyline from the canadian series Degrassi, or Degrassi: the next generation as it was called up to the ninth season. The series is about the Degrassi Community school, so it is about youthful kids. I might not be the target collective of that kind of series anymore, but if there is a queer couple you ca enumerate me in. The Degrassi lovebirds are Tristan Milligan (Lyle Lettau) who is a very blond openly gay teenager who just started dating his confidant Miles Hollingsworth (Eric Osborne) who is not openly gay. But they are open about their affair so I guess Miles is a pansexual. I think it is very sympathetically with pansexuals. I really think we all are pansexuals when it comes to the crunch. And Miles and Tristan are sweet as cotton candy, so I really do recommend that storyline. I recommend all male lover storylines actually. Even the boring and unhappy ones. We all do demand a little
